Sugarbush maple syrup festival

This is a great event to attend with the whole family.  The Maple Syrup Harvest is where one learns the art's history and take part in the process from tree tapping to sap boiling. Admission: $8, children $5 and begins at 10 am. The festival beings March 2 and runs until April 7.

Toronto International Bicycle Show

This weekend take the family to the Toronto International Bicycle Show. There will bw a BMX jam, mountain bike stunt competition, bike polo tournament, bicycles, accesories and more. Most of the time you can get great deals on bicycles, especially for children! Admission is $13, students/seniors $9. The show runs from March 1-3. For more information visit The Bike Show website.

IceFest!

This is a great chance to get outside with the family and take in the gorgeous ice sculptures for free! The wonderful & whimsical Bloor-Yorkville IceFest features an ice-carving competition and demos! The festival runs from February 23 & 24. For more information visit the Icefest website.

International Home & Garden Show!

This is great for the whole family because there the Home & Garden show has something for everyone! Decorating tips from celebrities including Arthur Skolnik and John Reeves, plus a floral design competition, gardening experts, a green pavilion and more. Toronto Marlies Feb.16

Hockey season is now upon us. If you have tickets to the Maple Leafs then you are part of the lucky few. If you want your family to enjoy a hockey outing why not take them to see the Toronto Marlies play the Hershey Bears?!? It's a great atmosphere,it's much cheaper in terms of tickets and treats! The game starts at 3 pm February 16 at 3pm. Tickets are $10 and up. Ricoh Coliseum, Exhibition Place.
