Sportball

Have you heard of this? Sounds like a fantastic class for kids and parents! Sportball is a multi-sport class that teaches kids to learn the fundamentals in 8 core sports (soccer, hockey, football, volleyball, baseball, basketball, tennis and golf). Fall is here!

Has anyone noticed that Fall has secretly arrived? The colours are changing on the trees already! I first noticed this change on Friday while waiting at a stop light at the corner of Lawrence and The Donway. I thought maybe it was just that one tree but then it happened...I noticed that all the trees in that area had already begun to change! Winter will be here before you know it.

Buskerfest

International street performers' Buskerfest is August 19 with aerialists, magicians, clowns, comedy, music and more. Buskerfest starts Thursday to Saturday from noon to 11 pm. Sunday runs from 11 am to 8 pm. Sounds like fun! For more information visit Buskerfest.

Live Music Labs at the Science Centre

If you haven't been, please add this to your to do list.  During the Science of Rock and Roll exhibit at the Ontario Science Centre, check out the Live Music Labs. The Live Music Labs joins musicians in interactive workshops exploring the dynamic relationship between science and music. They run Tuesdays & Thursdays at noon & 2 pm.
