Casting Opportunity
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Reno Rescue is a new Cottage Life
series that dives into the world of cottage reno projects gone wrong. In each
episode, top notch carpenter Dave Depencier and his team turn disaster reno
projects into a little piece of cottage perfection. Along the way they right
all the wrongs and teach cottage DIYers how to do things properly.
13 half-hour episodes
·
To air on Cottage Life Spring 2015CASTING DETAILS:
Currently looking for Ontario cottagers
within a 3 hour radius of Ottawa. Have
a cottage that is in need of a renovation rescue? We want to help!
·
We want to come to the rescue of cottage
owners who enjoy relaxing more than working or an inexperienced DIY culprit who
has gotten in over his head resulting in an unfinished project.· We are looking for projects that have stalled because cottagers don’t know what to do next and have some sort of visual progress such as open stud walls or plywood floors.
· We are not looking for inherited problems. i.e. problems that came with the cottage and are not a result of the current work of the owners.
Why apply?
To get ready for next year’s cottage
season in your newly-renovated summer oasis.
·
Production will supply labour as well as
substantial free materials and participants are required to contribute a
minimum of $2,000 to the renovations.
How to apply:
So
if you’re tired of trying to finish or fix your not-so-inspired renos and want
to relax in the upcoming cottage season we’re encouraging applicants to email
submissions to casting@mountainroad.ca with the following information and the subject heading
“Reno Rescue”:
·
Interior & exterior photos of your cottage –
including at least 3 photos of the stalled renovation.
·
A photo of you and your loved ones.
