Wild parsnip
Well it seems to be everywhere now. The wild parsnip is taking root in Ontario - and it could cause chemical burns to your skin. I know we have it in the Kawarthas. Read more at the following link and familiarize yourself with this lethal plant. http://t.co/Y3arNYGaRQ

Stop & smell the flowers
There is just so much to be thankful for and sometimes we are too busy to find time to remember the little things.

Parkwoods Plaza
Well out with the old and in with the new! Parkwoods Plaza is being demolished to make space for condos and a plaza. I have fond memories of this plaza as do my children. Can't wait to see the new and improved shops and living space.

The Zoo
I know I've said it before but the Zoo is where I would take the kids back in the day and we would pack a lunch and spend hours looking at the amazing animals. Here is a link for a coupon to the Zoo. I highly recommend taking the family for a day of pure fun and exercise (lots of walking)! Take a look at this link: https://tickets.torontozoo.com/purchaseProductSP.aro?sum=Zoo+Admission+Social
Enjoy!

Just came across a great vacation rental website called VRBO.com. I have heard great things about the state of the suites and the site is user friendly. Of course another great favourite site of mine is Airbnb.com. Check them out for your next vacation!
