Winter Waterfowl Event

This sounds interesting! Mergansers, Buffleheads, and Shovelers! Many of us are familiar with the Mallard Duck, but who are these other waterfowl with their funny names? Learn all about our winter visitors who come from the north to spend winter in the "warmer" south of Toronto!  Attend a 10 a.m. Winter Waterfowl ID Workshop, or if you have children, go at 11 a.m. for a family-friendly ID workshop! Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival

I loved taking the kids to the annual Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival! This festival will have demonstrations, pancakes and real maple syrup! Special March Break and weekend activities for the whole month of March. For more information visit Sugarbush Festival. There will be multiple locations which include Bruce's Mill Conservation Area, Kortright Centre for Conservation, Island Lake Conservation Area and Terra Cotta Conservation Area.

Special Exhibition Circus!

This sounds like great fun for all! Explore the magic of "the greatest show on earth" through a scientist's eyes at Circus! The Exhibition at the Ontario Science Centre. There are also other exhibits on now like the Mammoths and Mastadons.

Winter Brewfest

This looks like a lot of fun! Winter Brewfest will have samples of more than 100 beers crafted by brewers from across Ontario and Quebec, plus food trucks and live DJs. Winter Brewfest will take place at the LOCATIONEnercare Centre 100 Princes' Blvd, Exhibition Place this Friday & Saturday 5 pm-1 am. Tickets are $15-$25.

“The Metropolitan Silver Band.”

 Come one, come all! The Jubilee Order of Good Cheer presents “The Metropolitan Silver Band.”   The repertoire of this 30-member band includes classics, marches, sacred and popular music, as well as contemporary works written and arranged for silver bands. Winterfest Family Weekend at the Shops at Don Mills

This will be so much fun! Winterfest starts February 13 and runs until February 15 from noon until 6 pm. Celebrate Winter with CF Shops at Don Mills! They will have seasonal food and beverages, skating performances, music, children’s activities and more! The events planned as listed below:

Valentine Day Card Making
