Ontario Place Public Meeting
Everyone should have a say and listen to whats happening in Toronto. This is a Public Meeting to learn about the revised design based on citizen input for a new urban park and trail for Ontario Place. The meeting is at 6 pm Wednesday March 19 at the Metro Convention Centre South Bldg, rm 701(222 Bremner). It is free to attend this meeting. For more information visit ontario.ca/myontarioplace.

Toronto Gem Expo
I just love beads, gems and jewelry so this kind of event is right up my alley. The Gem Expo will have beads, gems, jewelry and minerals and runs March 14, 11:30 am-8 pm; March 15, 10 am-6 pm; March 16, 10 am-5 pm. Ukulele Night in Don Mills
I just found out that the ukulele is one of the most popular instruments for all ages these days. The good thing about them is that they are affordable and have a fun sound to them! I was so happy to hear that the Don Mills Library is offering teens how to learn to play. The class is free! The class begins at 4 pm March 13 at the Library. For more information call 416-395-5710.

National Home Show
I love, love, love the National Home Show! So much to see! You will enjoy design and renovation tips, celebrity specialists, model homes, gardens, green-friendly trends and more. If you see something you like, let the person at the booth know and most likely they will give you a deal because you saw them at the show. The Show runs from March 14 - 23 at the Direct Energy Centre Exhibition Place and admission is $13-$29 and kids under 12 are free.

Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival
I do love going to the Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival. I used to take the kids way back in the day. At the Festival you will enjoy demonstrations, wagon rides, entertainment, maple syrup pancakes and more.
