This sounds like it will be a blast for everyone. It's been awhile since I've been to the Island but if you pack a lunch then the whole family will have a great full day of fun no matter what! KidsFest will have tricycle races, demos from Little Tykes, Toronto Argonauts cheerleaders, a bouncy castle and more. Free with admission to Centreville, Toronto Island from July 5 to 7.
