Safety Expo in Don Mills!

Toronto Police Services, 33 Division Safety Expo - Wed. May 18th, 6:30 to 8:30pm

This free event will take place at the Toronto Real Estate Board, 1400 Don Mills Road. Representatives from many safety and security companies will be on hand to offer advice and information on how to protect your home and property. You can also bring 1 box of paper for confidential shredding. Children are welcome and can have their fingerprints taken (up to 12 years old).  See the list of companies that are participating on this 33

Yard Sales!

Come one come all to the yard sale on May 14 at 154 & 156 Three Valleys Drive. The garage sale will start at 8am and end at 11am. Great finds on baby ttems, housewares, decor, electronics and more.

Also, Saturday morning swing by 101 Rykert or 429 Broadway and see what wares are for sale. If raining on Saturday the yard sales will be moved to Sunday May 14.

Caregiver Discussion

This can be a very helpful meeting/support group for those caring for an elderly parent, spouse or relative.  The cost is free so why not check it out! There are a few dates that this will take place: May 9, Jun 13, Jul 11 and Aug 8. All meetings are from 6-8 pm. This is being held courtesy of  Family Services Toronto, 355 Church. Celebrate Mothers Day Outside!

On Sunday, May 8, 2011 from 1 pm to 4pm join us in the Town Square at the Shops at Don Mills for an afternoon of music and fun! At no cost!  There will be the Canadian Jazz Quartet featuring diva June Garber.

Plant Sale!

Stop and smell the roses or other flowers! Visit the High Park Native Plant Sale May 8 from 11 am-2 pm. Free admission! It will be held in front of High Park Greenhouse in High Park. Visit highparknature.org for more information.

Remember not to plant anything outside until after the May long weekend because sadly, there is still a chance for frost!
