Toronto Fire Fighters Annual Toy Drive at Shops at Don Mills Nov 29

 

Come out and have a great night with the family at the Shops at Don Mills! The fun begins Thursday, November 29, 2012 starting at 5:00 pm.

Please bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to help make a wish come true for an underprivileged child this Christmas.  With your donation of a toy worth $10 or more you will receive a free hamburger from South St. Burger, a drink from Aroma Espresso Bar and a cookie from The Bier Markt. You can also complete a passport by visiting some of our stores and you can be entered into a draw for a Cadillac Fairview shop! card valued at $500 to help with your Holiday Shopping!!!

This will also be the night they light their Holiday Trees in the Town Square with Santa and his Reindeer making a visit!  See the trees begin to sparkle between 5:30 PM and 5:45 PM as they flip the switch to get the Holiday Season underway.

Mistletoe Magic Craft Show & Sale Nov 29

Norman Ingram Public School (50 Duncairn Rd.) will once again be hosting their ‘Mistletoe Magic Craft Show and Sale’ on Thursday November 29, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This boutique style craft sale is Don Mills’ own “One of a Kind” show with something for everyone and every budget.  Featuring more than 30 local artisans, it is the perfect venue to find that unique gift – art, clothing and accessories, handbags, holiday decorations, home decor, jewellery, kids’ products, specialty foods, and much more - stock up on your holiday baking while mingling with friends and neighbours!

The night is organized by the Norman Ingram School Council and is a community spirit and fundraising event.  Admission is only $2 for adults and kids are free.  Seize the opportunity to support local artisans while picking up quality handmade goods.  There is plenty of free parking so please join us and bring a friend!

Half price day at the Zoo for Christmas walk!

Get out and enjoy the fresh air with the Zoo Christmas Treats Walk where you are able to feed the animals seasonal treats on a Tundra walk! The walk takes place on November 26 between 9:30 am-4:30 pm and its half-price admission at the Toronto Zoo.  Meadowvale N of 401. Winterfest on Toronto's Waterfront Nov 24

This will be great fun for the whole family! Winterfest On Toronto's Waterfront  will have Santa's workshop arts and crafts, skating, films, music, a Santa cruise and pet photos (December only) and more happen on Saturdays and Sundays. Santa Claus Parade Nov 18

It's official. The Holiday season can start this Sunday! at the Santa Claus Parade! The annual parade of floats, bands, clowns and more kicks off at 12:30 pm at Christie Pits (Bloor and Christie), goes east on Bloor to University, south on University to Wellington, and east on Wellington to the St Lawrence Market (Front and Jarvis).
