I wanted to share this great website with you. The company is called LEAF and they are a local, non-profit organization that helps you figure out which tress or shrubs to plant in your backyard. Most importantly they are dedicated to the protection and improvement of the urban forest.
By planting trees in and around your home you can greatly reduce your heating and cooling needs simply by being able to conserve more.
The LEAF website has price lists, a backyard tree planting program (that you can print off), a blog and so much more. I encourage you to take a look.
